Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: hi everyone welcome in a new episode of Stephens week I hope you’re gonna enjoy the new insights about marketing technology and customer experience welcome to the new show my friends [Music] interesting week in the battle between Walmart and Amazon as you know for e-commerce and e-commerce companies they try to remove every hurdle that they can possibly find to make it easier and more convenient for customers to buy with them Amazon is probably the expert in that and Amazon this week started a partnership with Volvo and they want to deliver goods in the trunk of of cars so if you’re shopping or if you’re doing something and you’re working in your cars park so that Amazon can deliver packages in your trunk that’s a cool one and Walmart is working together with a company called door – and this is typically a company that became famous for delivering restaurant food to homes and now they will help Walmart with the delivery of gross groceries and fresh products and I saw a piece of research this week that actually Walmart is selling more of those groceries online than Amazon acai you would think the contrary but Walmart is doing a really good job there and now they’re partnering up with a new delivery partner so you see that Walmart is actually installing some sort of an ecosystem and logistic system so they can also speed up their grocery deliveries because they really understand that Amazon wants to move forward here but at this time Walmart is doing a fantastic job in keeping Amazon away from its customers and this market interesting news or rumors about Netflix Netflix is planning or might be planning to buy movie theaters and this may sound funny because Netflix has its own channel that is 125 million subscribers but Netflix is making a lot of films of very high quality with very high quality speakers not speakers actors I mean of course maybe they could be nominated for Oscars or other awards but if you’re not in a movie theater you will never get such an award so Netflix is really disappointed that movie theaters do not want to show it in their theaters so one solution is if you want to do that is to buy movie theaters and they’re looking into that and that could change the way that Netflix movies are perceived by other parties and by award ceremonies and that could be a next step for Natsu next for Netflix sorry to build up their brand in the future Facebook announced its quarterly results and everyone was looking with big tension of course to that because of the Facebook Cambridge analytical scheme and the hashtag delete Facebook the scheme and the whole thing started at the end of March so it’s not the full quarter that got inflicted but already you can see that the impact is pretty limited on the financials of Facebook revenues grew to almost 12 billion it’s a 50% increase compared to last year and the number of users increase to 2.2 billion users so at this point it doesn’t look like Facebook had a lot to suffer from a financial and user point of view of the whole scheme and they didn’t announce some warning in terms of profitability or user decrease for the next quarter so it seems like they got an image issue but a financial and user base issue is not happening at this moment forth is making an important decision fork decided in the US that they would stop producing smaller cars and sedans they’re just gonna make two more vehicles and after that they’re gonna focus on SUVs and bigger cars and the reason is is very clear there’s a declining demand in car ownership the rise of uber the rise of lift the potential arrival of driverless car apparently in the u.s. many people that buy smaller cars are now looking for alternatives and this is a pretty bold decision that Fort D car manufacturer has to decide that they will stop with development of smaller cars so guys this was my weekly update I hope you enjoyed it have a great weekend and I see you again next week bye bye .
